Opportunity Available!! Our leading client in the Automotive Sector is looking to employ a Demand Planning Manager to join their dynamic team in Johannesburg.
 
Job Description: 
Sales Planning
  • Manage the monthly sales planning process for assigned product ranges
  • Review of sales results by gathering information from sales division, comparing actual results with sales plans and sales targets, and understand the root causes of variances and how these variances may impact on the sales plans of current and future months. 
  • Obtain input from and agree the sales plans with all channels in the sales division, i.e. dealer sales (including staff and corporate), car rental, government channels.
  • Present and discuss sales plans at meetings with sales division, executives
  • Maintain good working relationships with sales, marketing planning and production planning
  • Prepare reports for meetings as well as month end reports (Naamsa reports, etc)
  • Attend to all queries from sales division, executive management division and present reports and information to executive management 
Rundown
  • Update rundowns with sales plans, production (actual, confirmed and forecast), stock pipeline and agreed parameters
  • Prepare rundowns by channel and by suffix
  • Accurate forecast of stock holding allowing for better planning. 
  • Stock holding in line with corporate objectives. Minimum aged and unallocated stock
  • Supply in line with demand.
Production Orders
  • Prepare production orders for assigned product ranges in line with sales plan and rundown.
  • Break down colour and suffix mix in line with demand by referring to OTP, product strategy and backorders
Job Requirements: 
  • NQF Level 6 (Minimum 360 credits on level 8 framework) qualification in Business & Supply chain management or similar.
  • Analytics or Supply Chain background (at least 5 years).
  • SAP knowledge and experience. Essential
  • Automotive industry knowledge and experience - Essential
  • High degree of computer literacy – Essential. 
  • Excel Advanced – Essential.
