A growing information technology business based in Bryanston is looking for a motivated and hands-on Junior Financial Manager to join their finance team. Minimum Requirements
A BCom degree or similar qualification is required, or a recently qualified Chartered Accountant.
Working towards or actively completing a CA qualification is strongly preferred.
A minimum of five years of experience in finance is required.
At least three years of experience as a senior bookkeeper within an SME of between 150 and 500 employees is required.
Experience within a QSE to large firm with revenue of approximately R750 million is advantageous.
A structured, analytical, and detail-oriented working style is essential.
Strong written and verbal communication skills are required.
Candidates who are adaptable, hands-on, and open to being developed into a position of strategic ownership will be well suited to this role.

Key Responsibilities
Manage day-to-day operations of the finance department and support the CFO in driving financial performance.
Produce and maintain rolling three to six month forecasts across all business units.
Assist with project costing and report on project profitability on a monthly basis.
Monitor cash flow, debtors, and the movement of financial instruments.
Assist in preparing and evaluating financial budgets and identifying cost-reduction opportunities.
Prepare monthly reporting packs, management accounts, and operational and risk reports.
Provide financial reports and interpret financial information for managerial staff with recommendations for action.
Prepare financial and regulatory reports as required by relevant legislation, regulations, and the board.
Liaise with auditors to ensure appropriate financial monitoring is maintained.
Negotiate preferred pricing with suppliers and liaise with customers and suppliers where necessary.
Oversee the BEE plan, rating, reporting, and annual audit and certification.
Implement and maintain financial policies, procedures, and control frameworks.
Oversee internal team training programmes and support career development planning for direct reports.
Recruit, manage, and develop direct reporting staff when required.
Engage with various departments to discuss financial plans and align on business direction.
