This is the kind of role where your work actually moves deals across the finish line. Every sponsorship agreement that gets closed lands on your desk. You review it, flag what needs to shift, draft the creator-side agreement, push back on the terms that don't work, and get everything signed. The successful candidate will be the reason creators feel protected and deals don't unravel over a single clause.

This is not a slow, formal legal environment. Contracts are commercial, volume is high, and the pace is real. The person who thrives here reads carefully, moves quickly, and knows how to manage 50 moving parts without letting a single one slip through.

Minimum Requirements
Experience reviewing and drafting commercial contracts, ideally at volume.
Paralegal training, legal studies, or equivalent hands-on contract experience. A law degree is not required.
Exceptionally strong written English with the ability to draft professional correspondence and clear redline comments.
Genuinely detail-oriented with the kind of organisation that means nothing ever slips.
Comfortable picking up new software quickly without needing step-by-step guidance.
Able to work 9am to 5pm EST, which translates to approximately 3pm to 11pm South African time. This is non-negotiable and candidates must be fully comfortable with this schedule before applying.
Familiarity with the YouTube and creator space is a real advantage as context matters when negotiating on behalf of creators.

Key Responsibilities
Review incoming brand contracts and identify what needs to be negotiated before signing.
Draft creator-side agreements using existing templates while continuously improving the system.
Handle redlines with brand legal teams and creator managers.
Manage a shared inbox with a 24-hour turnaround on all drafted correspondence.
Keep the deal pipeline updated in Airtable so nothing falls through the cracks.
Escalate novel or complex legal risk appropriately rather than making unilateral calls.
Proactively chase outstanding signatures to keep deals moving through the pipeline efficiently.
