Key Responsibilities

  • Promote and sell parts and related services to both existing and prospective customers.
  • Build, develop, and maintain strong, long-term relationships with clients through professional and responsive service.
  • Deliver exceptional customer service by demonstrating a proactive and customer-focused approach at all times.
  • Handle customer queries, complaints, and concerns efficiently, ensuring issues are resolved to achieve maximum customer satisfaction.
  • Manage and monitor all back orders, providing customers with accurate daily updates and feedback.
  • Assist customers in identifying the correct parts by effectively using parts catalogues and technical resources.
  • Prepare and process sales quotations, estimates, picking slips, internal transfers, and invoices accurately and timeously.
  • Process internal and external parts invoices in accordance with branch requirements and procedures.
  • Follow up on outstanding back orders daily to ensure prompt resolution and customer communication.
  • Achieve and exceed agreed sales targets and performance objectives.
  • Participate in the standby and after-hours parts sales support roster as required.
  • Attend weekly management meetings and assist in resolving parts-related issues.
  • Support stock takes and inventory control activities when required.
  • Maintain excellent attendance, punctuality, and professional conduct.
  • Adhere to all company policies, procedures, and operational standards.
  • Perform any additional duties reasonably requested by management.

Minimum Requirements

  • Grade 12 (Matric) or equivalent qualification.
  • Minimum of 1–2 years' experience in a similar parts sales or customer service role.
  • Valid Code 8 driver's licence.
  • Ability to read, write, and communicate effectively in English.
  • Computer literacy and experience working with sales and invoicing systems will be advantageous.
