Key Responsibilities
Data Management and Analytics
- Source, consolidate, clean, validate, and manage data from accounting systems, SharePoint, semantic models, and Excel-based sources to ensure data integrity and reporting accuracy.
- Conduct exploratory data analysis (EDA) to identify trends, anomalies, margin risks, and business performance patterns.
- Design, develop, and maintain interactive dashboards and automated reporting solutions using Excel.
- Build and maintain data models that support forecasting, budgeting, and performance monitoring.
- Automate recurring reports and data processes to improve efficiency and reduce manual effort.
- Develop and monitor KPIs, sales targets, budgets, and performance scorecards aligned with business objectives.
- Ensure consistency and governance of key metrics across sales and business reporting.
- Prepare and deliver reports on Sales Division performance.
Pricing Management
- Maintain customer price books for Fuel and Lubricants.
- Manage monthly pricing updates and ensure pricing accuracy across systems.
- Work closely with sales teams to investigate and resolve pricing discrepancies and spot price variances.
Business Development and Strategic Support
- Support tender submissions and new business development initiatives.
- Compile client-facing information and communication materials.
- Provide analytical support for presentations and business proposals.
- Deliver data-driven insights that support growth initiatives and margin optimisation strategies.
Requirements
Qualifications, Experience and Knowledge
- A degree in a business-related field.
- Minimum of 2 years' experience in an office or administrative role within an operationally intensive business environment.
- Intermediate to advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel.
- Experience with Power BI would be advantageous, but is not essential.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and reporting skills with a keen attention to detail.
