A respected NGO organisation is looking for a Finance & Grants Officer to join their finance team. This role suits someone who enjoys both the structure of financial operations and the detail involved in grant administration and donor compliance.

You’ll work closely with the Finance Manager while supporting broader programme teams across the organisation.

 

What you’ll be involved in:

  • Financial bookkeeping and record management
  • Accounts payable and receivable processing
  • Budget tracking and cash flow forecasting
  • Monthly and annual financial reporting
  • Payroll and expense administration
  • Audit preparation and compliance support
  • Grant tracking, donor allocations, and reporting
  • Managing grant schedules, deadlines, and funder requirements
  • Supporting teams with grant-related administration and compliance

What they’re looking for:

  • Degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field
  • 3+ years’ finance experience
  • SAICA or SAIPA articles advantageous
  • Strong Excel skills and solid financial systems exposure
  • Experience on Pastel Evolution preferred
  • Highly organised with strong attention to detail
  • Comfortable managing multiple deadlines and stakeholders
  • Grant management exposure beneficial
