    • Oversee all in-country business operations, ensuring alignment with group strategy and operational objectives.
    • Manage the consolidated country P&L, including budgeting, reporting, audits, receivables, and financial governance.
    • Ensure full compliance with statutory, tax, labour, and regulatory requirements within Zambia.
    • Drive business development initiatives and build strategic relationships within the mining sector.
    • Lead and manage multi-functional operational teams across finance, HR, HSE, logistics, and operations.
    • Oversee fuel management operations including sourcing, inventory control, quality assurance, and supply chain activities.
    • Manage logistics, cargo handling, staging, transport coordination, and operational reporting activities.
    • Ensure compliance with mine safety standards and maintain a strong zero-harm safety culture.
    • Lead capital projects including infrastructure procurement, installation, and commissioning activities.
    • Act as the key in-country representative for client, supplier, and regulatory stakeholder engagement.

 

    • Bachelor’s Degree in Business, Finance, Engineering, or related discipline.
    • CA(SA), ACCA, CIMA, or equivalent financial qualification advantageous.
    • Minimum of 8–10 years’ management experience, including at least 3 years at Country Manager or General Manager level.
    • Minimum 5 years’ experience within the mining industry.
    • Strong logistics and supply chain management experience essential.
    • Proven experience managing multi-disciplinary operational teams.
    • Strong commercial, financial, and operational leadership capability.
    • Experience operating within expatriate and cross-cultural environments.
    • Previous Zambia or broader Sub-Saharan Africa experience highly advantageous.
    • Strong stakeholder engagement, negotiation, and business development skills.
