Test Automation Engineer (Mid - Senior) - Netherlands (Relocation role)

ENVIRONMENT:

A Company who builds and scales AI, SaaS and Talent platforms, is looking for a Test Automation Engineer to design, build, and maintain automated testing frameworks for modern SaaS platforms. You will play a critical role in ensuring software quality, reliability, and performance across complex systems.

 

DUTIES:

• Design and implement automated test frameworks
• Develop and maintain test scripts for web applications and APIs
• Integrate automated testing into CI/CD pipelines
• Collaborate with developers and product teams to define test strategies
• Identify, document, and track defects
• Ensure high test coverage and system reliability
• Continuously improve testing processes and frameworks

REQUIREMENTS:

Tech Stack

• Automation Tools: Selenium, Cypress, Playwright
• Languages: JavaScript / TypeScript / Java / Python
• Testing: API testing, UI testing, end-to-end testing

Core Requirements

• 3+ years’ experience in test automation / SDET / QA automation
• Strong experience with Selenium, Cypress, or Playwright
• Experience with automated testing frameworks
• Understanding of CI/CD pipelines
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
• Experience with version control (Git)
• Strong English communication skills

Certifications

• ISTQB Advanced (preferred)

Nice-to-Have

• Experience with performance testing
• Cloud environments (AWS/Azure)
• Docker / containerization
• Experience in SaaS or product environments
