A law firm in Bellville Cape Town is seeking a Junior Conveyancer to join its property department.

Salary: Market-related

Requirements:

• LLB degree
• Admitted Attorney and Conveyancer
• 1–3 years’ post-admission conveyancing experience preferred
• Sound knowledge of South African property law and conveyancing procedures
• Transfer experience essential
• Bond experience advantageous

Duties:

• Handling transfer matters from instruction to registration
• Drafting, reviewing, and approving conveyancing documents
• Attending to lodgement, registration, and post-registration processes
• Liaising with clients, estate agents, banks, municipalities, and Deeds Office officials
• Ensuring compliance with FICA and conveyancing regulations
• Monitoring timelines and resolving delays
• Reporting on progress of matters
• Assisting with bond registrations and cancellations where required
