Job overview
My client, a specialist in Hydraulic services and hydraulic hose repairs, is looking for an experienced technical sales representative to join their team in Montage Gardens.
Main responsibilities (not limited to)
SALES REVENUE
- Achieve revenue and profitability targets
- Adherence to price list and seeking management approval for special pricing
SALES GROWTH
- Track and report sales metrics, forecasts and market trends
- Establishing an environment and foundation for future sales growth
CUSTOMERS
- Identify and pursue new business opportunities within assigned areas
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with existing and new customers to ensure continuity of business.
Knowledge and experience required
- At least 2 years experience as a Technical Sales Representative in the Hydraulics industry
- Own transport and valid drivers licence
- Must be able to speak English and Afrikaans
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Attention to detail with a proactive approach
- Good communications skills
- Ability to negotiate and customer focused
- Self-starter mindset
- Accountability and dependability
- Good time management skills
