Regional Commercial Lead – Industrial Equipment (FMCG & Meat Processing)

Our client is looking for the services of a Regional Commercial Lead with strong technical sales background, particularly in capital or industrial equipment. The candidate must have strong experience in FMCG and meat processing environment.

This position will service the Cape Town region and provide support to the Eastern Cape.

Requirements

• Minimum of 5 years’ experience in technical sales, particularly in capital or industrial equipment.
• Technical qualification preferred.
• Sales diploma/degree is advantageous.
• Proven track record of meeting or exceeding sales targets
• Holds or is currently pursuing a relevant business degree
• Strong financial acumen with experience managing full sales cycles and budgets
• FMCG experience is essential, ideally within the meat processing or hygiene solutions sectors
• Demonstrated success in customer relationship management, business development, and sales performance
• Technically minded, with the ability to understand, demonstrate, and sell complex product solutions
• Excellent relationship-building, presentation, and negotiation skills
• Comfortable travelling across multiple regions and engaging with both internal stakeholders and OEMs
• Proficiency in Afrikaans is required
• Willingness to travel extensively.
