- Take responsibility for operations planning
- Manage plant budgets
- Take responsibility for manufacturing activities
- Ensure customer requirements and quality standards are met
- Ensure health, safety, security and plant maintenance regulations are met
- Manage and supervise Department Managers
- Set and ensure that operational targets are met
- Manage overall resources of the business including people
- National Diploma or Degree in Engineering or equivalent
- Minimum 10 years’ experience in a management position
- Minimum 5 years management in the automotive experience
- Leadership
- Problem solving and decision making
- Communication
- Manufacturing processes
- Understanding of quality systems
- Business acumen
- Relationship management with the Original Equipment Manufacturers
