Senior Geologist (Open Pit Gold / Resource Integrity / QAQC) – Central Africa
- Supervise drilling, logging, sampling, and QA/QC activities.
- Maintain and update geological models to ensure data accuracy and integrity.
- Ensure proper database management and validation of geological information.
- Interpret structural and lithological data to support operational decision-making.
- Support mine planning and production teams with accurate geological inputs.
- Contribute to resource estimation and technical studies.
- Ensure alignment between field observations and geological modelling outputs.
- Mentor and develop junior geologists.
- Monitor geological performance and reporting against operational targets.
- Degree in Geology (essential).
- Minimum of 7 years’ experience within mining operations.
- Open pit gold experience preferred.
- Strong experience in QA/QC procedures and resource data management.
- Proficient in Leapfrog, Datamine, and/or Surpac.
- Strong structural interpretation and modelling capability.
- Field-oriented with the ability to work in challenging site conditions.
- Strong communication skills and ability to work within multicultural teams.
- Autonomous, adaptable, and team-oriented mindset.
- Contract: 12 months
- FIFO:10 days on / 4 days off
