- Work closely with the Business Intelligence (BI) Manager to transform raw, multi source data into reliable, timely, and actionable insights.
- On-time delivery of dashboards/reports against SLAs.
- Data quality metrics: completeness, accuracy, reconciliation rates.
- Stakeholder satisfaction scores and adoption of dashboards.
- Measured impact of AI-assisted insights (time saved, decision quality
- Grade 12
- Tertiary qualification ( Degree/Diploma in Data Analytics, Information Systems, Statistics, Computer Science or related field)
- 2–4 years in a Data Analyst role supporting BI/reporting, ideally in operations or service environments.
- SQL (intermediate to advanced): joins, aggregations, etc.
- Power BI: data modelling, DAX, Power Query; dashboard UX and performance optimisation.
- Excel (advanced): Pivot Tables, Power Query, data cleaning techniques.
- Nice to have: AI tool proficiency: Copilot/ChatGPT or similar for insight generation; prompt engineering best practices and result validation.
- Analytical storytelling: turning data into clear narratives and recommendations.
- Awareness of data governance and privacy (e.g., POPIA).
- Exposure to Python or suitable alternatives to enable report automation.
