Our client, a well-established meat processing facility, is seeking a Handyman to join their team.
Duties will include:
- Perform electrical repairs, including lights and laundry.
- Ensure mechanical equipment is in working order and fixed as necessary.
- Complete general building cleaning and maintenance.
- Install and replace floors, stairs and piping as needed.
- Repair and paint doors, windows, walls, ceilings, roofs and other parts of the building.
- Maintain and repair air conditioning and heating systems as required.
- Perform maintenance and light repairs
- Repair equipment or appliances
- Assist with electrical, plumbing or HVAC repairs
- Identify and report the need for major repairs
- Perform basic repairs eg wall damage, broken windows
- Complete general maintenance work
- Paint surfaces and apply stain as needed
- Take on other installation, repair, and maintenance duties as needed and legally permitted
- Follow workplace health and safety rules
Salary: R 2 000 per week
