Registered Nurse – Intravenous (IV) therapy experience

An upmarket Intravenous Vitamin Infusion Centre is seeking a skilled Registered Nurse to join their team.

The centre administers medically approved, safe, and sterile IV vitamin infusions designed to enhance health, wellness and sports performance, as well as support a variety of medical conditions.

Experience in administering Intravenous (IV) therapy is essential, and the ideal candidate will be committed to delivering exceptional patient care and growing with the practice over the long term.

Qualifications needed:

• General/Registered Nurse with a minimum of two years’ experience
• Experience in administering Intravenous (IV) therapy is essential
• Registered with the South African Nursing Council (SANC)

Responsibilities:

• Explain what IV Vitamin/Nutrient Therapy is and the benefits thereof
• Provide a clear and detailed outline of the procedure so clients know exactly what to expect
• Take basic vitals
• Administer drips (gently and timeously) and monitor throughout
• Ensure admin duties are completed per client (daily sheet, batch number etc)
• Potentially take payment and send invoices, dependent on The Infusion Centre

Other requirements:

• Must perform the procedure efficiently, skilfully, and with a gentle, client-focussed approach
• Knowledge of vitamin infusions would be an advantage but not essential
• Happy disposition and good energy
• Excellent people skills
• Excellent communication skills
• Proficient in English
• Works well under pressure
• Trustworthy and honest
