Please note that this is a junior to mid-career level role, specifically focused on 3D model renderings in steel fabrication, piping sector for the oil & gas, marine and petrochemical industries.
- You will have a tertiary qualification in Draughting or Mechanical Engineering, coupled 2-5 years experience in draughting and 3D modelling of heavy structural steel structures and piping.
- You will be able to transfer client piping isometric drawings into fabrication ready models and create shop detail drawings from fabrication models.
- You will have proven experience in managing drawing registers, updating where necessary and ensuring the highest QC standards, providing input into problem solving and design faults.
- You must have exceptional communication skills, be able to work as part of a fast paced and precise team, as well as be meticulous in record keeping, and ensuring the highest standards are upheld
- CAD Draughting, AutoCAD, SolidWorks or related software proficiency is essential
- You must have a valid driver’s licence, own car and a clear criminal and credit record
