Junior Automation Technician

Kickstart your career in industrial automation and robotics! A fast-paced tech company in Pretoria is looking for a Junior Automation Technician to gain hands-on experience setting up, maintaining, and repairing automated systems and equipment.

Requirements:
▪️ Proven experience in PLC and robot programming (Kuka, Beckhoff, Siemens advantageous)
▪️ Degree, National Diploma, or relevant trade certificate in Electrical, Mechatronic, or Industrial Automation
▪️ Strong technical skills and problem-solving abilities
▪️ Excellent teamwork, communication, and organisational skills
▪️ Own transport and valid driver’s licence

Responsibilities:
🔹 Assist with wiring, sensor replacement, and routine maintenance
🔹 Troubleshoot and report issues to senior staff
🔹 Support installation and mechanical/electrical tasks
🔹 Travel to client sites as required and work overtime when needed
