Our client in the Mining Industry is looking to employ a young and dynamic professional with strong business development experience and a good understanding of the DRC business environment, culture and market dynamics especially within the HR services sector. Ideally the client is seeking a professional who has previous experience in subcontracting or personnel outsourcing, either as a Managing Director (Directeur General), Deputy Managing Director (Directeur General Adjoint) or Commercial Director (Directeur Commercial) within a similar company.
Beyond technical expertise, our client is seeking a forward-thinking and innovative professional who can bring fresh perspective to a sector that is often traditional and slow to evolve. The company operates in an environment where the core business is sometimes misunderstood, and most competitors rarely move beyond conventional models.
This presents a unique opportunity for the successful candidate to drive innovation and modernization, helping to reshape the way services are delivered within the industry. While experience in the mining industry would be considered an advantage, it is not essential. What matters most is a proven track record in building and growing business operations within challenging or developing environments, combined with a strategic mindset and a hands-on leadership style.
The ideal candidate will have relevant field experience in the Democratic Republic of the Congo (DRC) or similar contexts, with the ability to adapt quickly to dynamic market conditions.
Fluency in both French and English essential.
