Our client is seeking and experienced IT professional with strong expertise in System Administration, infrastructure support, and network management. The ideal candidate must possess a strong technical background, hands-on experience, and a proactive approach to problem-solving in a dynamic business environment.
Duties & Responsibilities
- Administer and support Linux and Microsoft Server technologies
- Manage and maintain network infrastructure, including TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, VLAN’s, and firewalls
- Configure and troubleshoot routers (especially MikroTik0 and ensure secure routing setups
- Manage and support ERP systems to ensure optimal performance and reliability
- Configure and maintain VPN technologies such as OpenVPN, IPsec, and WireGuard
- Develop and maintain automation scripts using BASH for configuration and system optimization
- Monitor and maintain system performance, ensuring maximum uptime and efficiency
- Create and maintain documentation for systems, processes, and configurations
- Collaborate effectively with team members and stakeholders, demonstrating strong communication skills
Desired Experience & Qualification
- 5+ years of hands-on experience in system administration or infrastructure support
- Proven experience in Linux and Microsoft Server environments
- Strong knowledge of network administration (TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, VLAN’s, firewalls)
- Experience with VPN setup and management (OpenVPN, IPsec, WireGuard)
- Experience with router configuration, preferably MikroTik
- Familiarity with ERP systems and their infrastructure requirements
- BASH scripting experience for automation and configuration management
- Excellent problem solving, documentation, and communication skills
Optional Skills
- Exposure to cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud)
- Degree or Diploma in IT Related field
- Relevant certifications – N+, MCSA, Linux+, CCNA
