What will you be doing?
- You’ll take full ownership of the finance function in the province, ensuring accuracy, compliance and operational efficiency.
- Key responsibilities include:
- Managing the full financial accounting process and maintaining complete audit trails.
- Implementing and monitoring financial systems and procedures in line with national standards.
- Preparing accurate monthly and year-end reports.
- Leading and developing support staff within the provincial office.
- Driving budgeting, forecasting and audit processes.
- This is both a strategic and hands-on role — ideal for someone who enjoys rolling up their sleeves while keeping sight of the bigger picture.
What the role requires:
- A tertiary qualification in Finance (BComm or equivalent).
- Minimum 5 years’ experience in financial management, including budgeting and audit processes.
- Proficiency in MS Excel and Sage Evolution.
- Strong leadership, analytical and communication skills.
- Proven ability to manage competing priorities in a fast-paced environment.
- Willingness to work flexible hours when needed.
