Job Description
My client in the non-profit space seeks an experienced CA(SA) Group Financial Manager to fill in a maternity cover contract role in their team. This role will provide strategic, specialised, and operational finance support to a group of non-profit companies across South and East Africa. The role enables efficient financial management, informed decision-making, and operational excellence Role reports to the Head of Finance, and offers the flexibility of a hybrid working model.

What you will be doing:
- Oversee accounting and reporting across all group entities
- Support year-end close and prepare/review annual financial statements and group consolidations
- Manage and resolve internal and external audit findings
- Oversee cash flow forecasting, beneficiary management, and payment approvals
- Support the annual budgeting process with finance business partners
- Develop and implement finance policies and procedures to address risks and audit findings
- Ensure compliance with financial, accounting, and regulatory standards
- Drive automation and digital efficiencies within finance systems
- Support group-wide finance projects and provide leadership to the finance team
What we are looking for:
- Chartered Accountant CA(SA) qualification
- 10+ years’ post-qualification experience, with experience in a senior role
- Proven leadership, management, and accounting expertise
- Excellent stakeholder engagement skills
- Strong internal control and compliance capability
- Excellent communication, planning, and project management skills
- Analytical, detail-oriented, and collaborative with strong results orientation
