What you will be doing: 

• Lead and manage the Finance team, ensuring strong governance and reporting
• Oversee financial systems, processes, and controls to protect assets and deliver insights
• Develop and manage a financial calendar to meet key deadlines
• Produce and present regular financial reports and forecasts
• Ensure robust stock control across biological, WIP, and finished goods
• Monitor product pricing, discounting, and profitability
• Drive cost efficiency and manage capex with clear business cases
• Manage treasury and taxation, including cash flow forecasting and tax optimisation
• Oversee risk management including insurance, FX hedging, and working capital
• Ensure timely and accurate group reporting

What we are looking for: 

• CA(SA)
• Minimum 7 years in a senior financial leadership role
• Preferably 5 years in FMCG or agriculture sector
• Experience with Biological Fair-Value accounting is advantageous
• Strong strategic thinking and performance tracking
• Proven ability to drive business improvement and change
• Excellent collaboration, communication, and teamwork skills
• Ability to provide independent commercial and operational insights
