My client is looking for a B2B outbound Sales Representative (tele sales) to join their team. Experience in sales/tele-sales to work on a 4–5-month contract calling on the entire restaurant, hotel and catering industry across South Africa selling Crockery, Glassware etc.

The Company has a large amount of excess stock that it wants to sell over High-Season period in the hospitality sector.

This is an opportunity for a talented, ambitious and focused tele-sales professional to earn way above market commission for successful results in this role.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

• Employ a relationship-based approach to boost sales and secure orders from new potential customers.
• Build and nurture business relationships within the assigned Representative Area to generate new business for Company products.
• Stay updated on product knowledge and new products.
• Follow up with customers to ensure satisfaction and repeat business.
• Collaborate with the sales team for lead generation and conversion.

Requirements

QUALIFICATIONS & EXPERIENCE

• Matric certificate or equivalent qualification.
• Proven experience of at least 2 – 4 years in similar positions.
• Fluent in English
• Own Transport

COMPETENCIES REQUIRED

• Very comfortable with cold calling and can work at a high rate of activity – minimum calls per day
• Building and maintaining relationships with strong people skills – living out the company values and unique Company culture.
• Ability to work in a highly competitive, fast past and dynamic environment.
• Ability to communicate fluently in English (written and verbal).
• Computer literate – Excel, Word, PowerPoint and has worked on accounting and CRM systems previously.
• Effective communication skills.
• Accuracy and attention to detail.

Salary – Basic R 10 000 – R 15 000 (depending on experience) + generous commission + incentive bonus.
