Job Overview

The Warehouse assistant will assist in receiving, unpacking containers & putting them into stock and will be required to Deliver stock when necessary.

Areas of Responsibility (Your duties will include but are not limited to:)

• Ensure that pallets are always kept neat and tidy.
• Ensure that the floor is always clean during the shift.
• Stack picked stock in neat arrangements to avoid/minimise damage.
• Work as part of a team and assist your co employees.
• Supervisor is to double check the order before taking the slip to Invoicing.
• Stock take
• Assist in receiving, unpacking containers & putting them into stock.
• Pick the orders & then pack them on pallets for dispatch.
• Basic paperwork like making out transporter’s waybills.
• Must have a clean Driver’s license (Code 8) as may be required to Deliver stock when necessary.

Knowledge, skills, and experience required.

• Be able to read, write and speak in English and Afrikaans
• Must be physically fit to perform work duties.
• High level of accuracy and attention to detail
• Matric
