We are looking for a meticulous and results-oriented Financial Accountant to Prepare, examine, and analyse financial statements, management reports, and supporting schedules. The ideal candidate will possess strong analytical abilities, a thorough understanding of accounting principles. Must have Forex experience. Completed SAIPA Articles program is an added advantage but not a must.

 

Salary: Market related.

 

Minim Requirements:

Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field

7+ years’ experience as a Financial Accountant

Must have Forex experience

Completed SAIPA Articles program – ideal and an advantage but not a must

Assisting with Treasury functions

Strong knowledge of accounting principles, standards, and regulations.

Proficiency in accounting software (e.g., Microsoft Dynamics BC 365, Sage Accounting, or similar) and advanced MS Excel skills.

Strong communication and interpersonal skills.

 

Key Responsibilities

Prepare, examine, and analyse financial statements, management reports, and supporting schedules.

Ensure compliance with relevant accounting standards IFRS and regulatory requirements.

Manage month-end, quarter-end, and year-end closing processes.

Reconcile accounts, monitor general ledger entries, and resolve discrepancies.

Support internal and external audits by providing necessary documentation and explanations.

Oversee accounts payable, accounts receivable, and fixed asset accounting processes.

Assisting with Treasury functions, foreign exposures to mimimise forex risk.

Assist in budgeting, forecasting, and variance analysis.

Ensure timely submission of tax filings and regulatory reports.
