We are seeking an experienced individual to manage our financial operations and ensure seamless processing from source documents to balance sheet.

Key Responsibilities:

• Process books from source documents to balance sheet.
• Perform bank reconciliations for all business bank accounts, including Trust, Business, VAT & Salaries accounts, and company credit cards.
• Process, reconcile, and maintain general ledger accounts.
• Handle client invoicing, statements, and creditor invoices/statements.
• Liaise with debtors and creditors to resolve account queries.
• Prepare monthly and annual financial statements, including liaising with auditors for company and trust audits.
• Generate and maintain multiple commission schedules.
• Manage relationships with banks, including opening investment accounts on behalf of clients.
• Administer and manage company credit cards and petty cash.
• Prepare and execute payments efficiently.
• Maintain the company’s annual budget.
• Ensure SARS compliance: reconcile and process VAT, PAYE, EMP501, and Provisional Tax calculations and payments within deadlines.

Requirements:

• Relevant bookkeeping qualification or equivalent experience.
• Proficiency in financial software and Microsoft Office Suite.
• Strong understanding of financial principles and compliance standards.
• Excellent organizational and communication skills.
• Ability to work under pressure and meet strict deadlines.
