Financial Manager

Job Description

My client is an established distributor of a high-quality and award-winning brand seeks a hands-on Financial Manager to take ownership of their day-to-day finance function and keep their finance operations running smoothly. This is a full-time in office role within the CBD of Cape Town. Great close-knit dynamic team!

 

What you’ll do

• You’ll play a central role in managing and improving their financial processes, ensuring accuracy, compliance, and efficiency. Your key responsibilities will include:
• Overseeing financial operations – from customer order processing to invoicing and reconciliations
• Maintaining accurate financial records
• Managing accounts receivable and payable, including supplier payments and customer collections
• Ensuring compliance with internal controls and tax regulations
• Preparation and filing of tax returns
• Documenting and refining financial processes and procedures as required
• Liaising with customers, service providers, banks, and other external stakeholders

What we’re looking for

• SAIPA qualified candidates with 2 years post qualified experience
• Strong numerical and analytical skills, with keen attention to detail and deadlines
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Exceptional attention to detail and strong planning skills
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel
• Bonus points for: SAIPA qualification and experience with Sage Evolution accounting software
