Job Description:

A client of ours who operates within the mining sector is looking for a Technical Sales Engineer. The ideal candidate will possess strong communication and interpersonal skills, coupled with a solid understanding of technical and compliance requirements. This role demands a self-driven individual focused on achieving targets and goals, with the ability to identify and pursue new business opportunities effectively. The candidate should be adept at building and maintaining strong relationships with key decision-makers

Responsibilities:  

• Strong communication and interpersonal abilities
• Solid knowledge of technical and compliance requirements
• Self-driven, with a focus on targets and goals
• Skilled at identifying and pursuing new business opportunities
• Capable of developing and maintaining relationships with key decision-makers
• Effective at managing deadlines and coordinating contributions across departments
• Able to work independently with minimal supervision and demonstrate self-reliance

 

Requirements: Qualification and Skill

• Diploma/Degree in Mechanical Engineering
• Certification in valves and pumps (advantageous)
• Industry-specific sales certification in valves and pumps
• 2 to 5 years’ experience in a similar role with proven results
• Familiarity with pumps, valves, motors, drives, bearings, mechanical seals, and couplings
• Practical and clear understanding of mining and industrial sales
• Ability to deliver technical demonstrations and offer effective solutions
