A leading manufacturer in the industrial packaging sector, with a long-standing reputation for quality and reliability, is looking for an experienced and hands-on Factory Manager for their facility near Kinshasa, Congo. The company specialises in manufacturing industrial sacks and packaging solutions for long-term contracted clients. This is a high-volume, fast-paced operation that requires a leader who can manage production efficiently, maintain high-quality output, and ensure cost control. The ideal candidate will be comfortable working in a remote environment, managing a multicultural workforce, and “getting their hands dirty” when necessary

Minimum Requirements:
Valid Passport
Minimum 5–10 years of factory or production management experience in a manufacturing environment
Strong background in production processes and operations management
Proven financial acumen with the ability to manage cost control, budgets, and procurement
Hands-on management style – comfortable stepping in to resolve operational challenges directly
Experience managing multinational teams or large-scale workforces
Excellent leadership, communication, and decision-making skills
Comfortable living and working in a remote location
Ability to work under pressure to meet production deadlines and targets

Duties and Responsibilities:
Oversee day-to-day factory operations to meet production targets and quality standards
Maintain high output while ensuring safety and compliance with labour and legal standards
Coordinate raw material procurement and monitor inventory levels
Manage cost efficiencies and budget controls in collaboration with the finance team
Implement systems and processes to improve operational efficiency
Lead, mentor, and manage a team
Collaborate with senior leadership to execute company strategies and performance goals
Produce and present operational KPI and production reports to management
