Our UK tax, accounting and compliance client is looking for a Finance Business Partner / Financial Controller for 2 months only. You need UK experience and should have worked on XERO. You need to start ASAP. Must be a fully Qualified Accountant.

 

Salary Negotiable (it’s a 2-month fixed term contract) and UK experience is essential

 

Requirements

Strong performer with 10+ years senior finance experience from a UK market prospective

Must have UK accounting experience and be a fully qualified accountant.

Must have Xero experience

Statutory accounting and corporation tax compliance – UK EXPERIENCE

Management accounts and reporting

Finance business partnering

Experience managing junior staff

Professional services experience

 

Responsibilities

Manage all day-to-day accounting operations

Manage treasury/cash flows

Run the monthly payroll process

Prepare management accounts and reports

Prepare and submit quarterly VAT returns

Prepare and submit annual statutory accounts and corporation tax returns

Supervise and mentor junior finance staff

Assist with budget preparation and forecasting

Support with compliance of finance controls and procedures

Support the business in implementing its financial strategy and objectives
