Our Client in Epping Cape Town is looking for a Financial Administrator with 3-4 years financial administration/bookkeeping experience. You need to know Pastel and Payroll as this role includes both.

Min Requirements

Matric and a Relevant Financial Accounting Bookkeeping Diploma are an added advantage

3-4 years’ experience in Bookkeeping and VIP Payroll

Experienced working on VIP Payroll, Excel and PASTEL

Payroll Experienced

 

Job Requirement

Assist the Senior Bookkeeper with Financial capturing and monthly payroll PASTEL

Assist with general financial /finance duties when needed

Prepare all invoices, etc. for payment weekly

Correctly filing of all financial documents

Filling of all financial documents according to statement

Capturing all financial information to Pastel

Performing all duties required to complete/update Pastel Bookkeeping.

Finalize all duties on Pastel to ensure that auditors do year-end

Payroll Administration Function – VIP Payroll

Collection of employees’ daily shift records daily

Capturing of shift records to payroll system (Spread sheet & VIP Payroll)

Capturing of employee’s sick leave & leave – record keeping

Capturing of employee’s deductions daily (Spread sheet & VIP Payroll)

Petty Cash

Checking and finalizing of spreadsheet monthly and Filling of documentation monthly in date order

Capturing of petty cash on Pastel and Safekeeping of petty cash monies

Issue petty cash in the correct format, manage & balance petty cash monies

Vehicle Administration

Collection of fuel slips daily and capturing of fuel slips on PASTEL & excel fuel consumption

Presenting and preparing weekly reports and weekly payment schedules for fuel account (spreadsheet)
