- Perform diagnostics, maintenance, and repairs on a variety of petrol and diesel vehicles (cars and bakkies).
- Inspect vehicle engines and mechanical/electrical components to diagnose issues accurately.
- Carry out routine servicing, including brakes, suspension, clutch, engine repairs, and general mechanical work.
- Conduct test drives to ensure the proper functioning of repaired vehicles.
- Maintain accurate records of services and repairs.
- Use diagnostic tools and follow workshop procedures and safety standards.
- Work both independently and as part of a team in a busy workshop environment.
- Red Seal Trade Test Certificate – Motor Mechanic.
- Proven experience working on both cars and bakkies.
- Solid understanding of petrol and diesel engines.
- Ability to diagnose faults quickly and accurately.
- Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills.
- Good communication and teamwork skills.
- Experience with a range of vehicle makes and models.
- Familiarity with electronic diagnostic equipment.
- Valid driver's license.
