Salary: R35 000 - R40 000 per month (Negotiable, based on experience)

Workplace: In-Office I Monday to Friday, 8:00 - 16:00

An international logistics company experiencing rapid growth in South Africa is seeking an experienced and hands-on Transport Manager to join their growing team.

The Transport Manager will be responsible for overseeing all transport-related activities, with an initial focus on third-party transporters (local and cross-border). Over time, the position will evolve into a fleet management function as the business grows and begins to operate its own vehicles.

Minimum Requirements:
Grade 12, or equivalent.
Relevant qualification in logistics or supply chain (advantageous).
Minimum of two years’ experience in a transport or logistics management role.
Proven experience managing third-party logistics operations.
Existing relationships with local and cross-border road freight suppliers.
Excellent negotiation and communication skills.
Strong computer literacy.
Ability to work independently and manage pressure in a fast-paced setting.

Key Responsibilities:
Source and secure competitive rates for local and cross-border road freight.
Build and maintain strong supplier relationships.
Arrange, track, and manage third-party transport solutions.
Provide shipment updates and reporting to internal and external stakeholders.
Evaluate supplier performance and implement improvements.
Support planning and eventual rollout of internal fleet operations.
