Key Responsibilities:
- Implement and manage the site-specific Safety Management Plan
- Ensure full compliance with OHS Act and SACPCMP regulations
- Conduct site inspections, toolbox talks, safety audits and risk assessments
- Maintain SHE file and ensure all safety documentation is current and complete
- Liaise with site management, subcontractors, and external auditors
- SACPCMP Registration as Safety Officer (non-negotiable)
- Minimum 3 years’ experience on residential or construction projects
- Sound knowledge of OHS legislation and construction site safety practices
Strong communication, reporting and leadership skills
