Power BI Developer / Analyst

ENVIRONMENT:

An esteemed company at the forefront of the Intelligent Process Automation (IPA) industry is presenting an enticing opening for a Business Intelligence Developer. This role entails crafting, building, and implementing reporting and analytical solutions that serve to bolster and elevate business decisions by transforming data into actionable insights, all while utilizing the preferred client reporting and analytical tools (software).

 

DUTIES:

• Support and Maintenance: Provide ongoing support and maintenance for existing PowerBI models to ensure they remain accurate and up-to-date.
• Feature Development: Build new features and Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) to enhance the functionality and value of the PowerBI models.
• Data Analysis: Analyse data to identify trends and insights that can inform decision-making and improve product health.
• Reporting: Compile monthly reports and updates for the Executive Committee (Exco) to keep them informed of key metrics and progress.
• Collaboration: Work closely with Product teams to gather key insights and feedback and use this information to continuously improve the PowerBI models.
• Data Integrity: Ensure the integrity of the data by implementing robust data validation and quality checks.
• Pipeline Efficiency: Optimize data pipelines to ensure efficient data processing and loading.
• Teamwork: Collaborate with data engineers to integrate various data sources and ensure seamless data flow into the PowerBI models.

REQUIREMENTS:

• Strong experience with PowerBI, including data modeling, DAX, and Power Query.
• Proficiency in SQL and experience with data integration from multiple sources.
