Seeking a hands-on and detail-oriented Quantity Surveyor to join the team, supporting both construction and custom furniture manufacturing projects. The ideal candidate will have experience across the full project lifecycle—from initial costing and tendering to tracking project budgets and managing supplier and subcontractor agreements. This is a dual-industry role that requires someone comfortable working with both building and joinery/furniture production teams.

Minimum Requirements:
Diploma or Degree in Quantity Surveying
Minimum of 3–5 years’ experience in a QS role (construction and/or furniture manufacturing)
Strong understanding of cost control, BOQ preparation, and contract management
Proficient in Microsoft Excel and quantity surveying software (e.g. CCS Candy, BuildSmart, or similar)
Valid driver’s license and own reliable transport
Knowledge of local building and furniture production materials and costing structures
Strong negotiation and supplier relationship skills
Able to work independently and meet deadlines

Duties and Responsibilities:
Prepare and maintain project budgets, estimates, and cash flow forecasts
Compile Bills of Quantities (BOQs) and tender documentation for both construction and joinery projects
Conduct site measurements and verify progress claims
Monitor costs, identify variances, and prepare monthly valuations and cost reports
Liaise with suppliers, subcontractors, and site teams to ensure accurate cost tracking and timely procurement
Evaluate subcontractor claims and process payments in line with contract terms
Assist with final accounts and project close-out reports
Support the project management team in planning, budgeting, and client reporting
Conduct regular site visits to ensure work is completed within budget and timeline
