- In charge/overseeing the daily running of the Receiving Department, Rebate Store, Bulk and Small Components Store, Paint Store and Consignment Store.
- Ensure effective document controls are maintained, and respective SOPs are followed.
- Conducting weekly stock counts on all stores. Report on all variances and adjustments done accordingly.
- Initiate corrective actions to address stock variances and to follow through to closure.
- Processing of all goods received documentation, IST’s and unplanned issues.
- Processing all consumable documentation and sorting out Finance queries.
- Liaise with Material Planning and Import Purchasing regarding abnormalities in receipt.
- Inform Material Planning on stock levels if stock is below minimum level.
- Consumable store control and reporting weekly on stock levels.
- Regular monitoring and maintenance of high value stock
- Ensure stock rotation system (FIFO) is adhered to.
- Maintain proper housekeeping standards and ensure that safety requirements are adhered to.
- Ensure MSDS files are updated for paints, materials and chemicals.
- Ensure meetings are held pertaining to paint and chemical store and provide minutes
- Ensure all stocks required as per works order are arranged within the agreed period and communicated.
- Manage KPA’s of subordinates
- Matric
- Certificate in Supply Chain
- 3-5 years relevant experience in Material Planning
- Experience in a Manufacturing industry
