Role Summary:
The primary purpose of this role is to supervise audit engagements and related activities, ensuring compliance, team development, and high-quality deliverables.Minimum Qualifications Required:
- BCom Degree in Accounting or Auditing
- Completed SAICA Articles
- CA(SA) designation

- Strong coaching and leadership capabilities
- Effective time management and multi-tasking skills
- Proven people management and interpersonal abilities
- Excellent communication and conflict resolution skills
- High level of professionalism, adaptability, and problem-solving abilities
- Solid technical and academic background
Computer Proficiency:
- Microsoft Office Suite
- CaseWare
- Pastel
- Greatsoft (advantageous)
Key Responsibilities & Performance Indicators:
- Supervise and coordinate audit engagements and activities of trainee accountants
- Act as a liaison between clients, directors, and staff
- Conduct weekly staff briefings and performance evaluations
- Lead in planning, training, mentoring, and motivating team members
- Provide coaching and support to audit employees
- Review statutory audits and employee outputs
- Support systems development and business plan compilation
- Ensure full compliance with the firm’s System of Quality Management (SOQM)
- Adhere to the firm’s Employee Code of Conduct, including HR policies, SAICA, IRBA, and IESBA standards
