Key Account Manager – (Techno-Commercial/ Management/ Rotating Equipment / Engineering / CRM)

Responsibilities:

    • Build and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders in major industrial accounts.
    • Identify opportunities for upselling and cross-selling across product offerings.
    • Develop strategic, long-term account plans aligned with client goals.
    • Deliver technical solutions for bearings and related components tailored to client needs.
    • Conduct site visits to assess machinery, operating conditions, and maintenance requirements.
    • Work with engineering and product teams to recommend application-specific upgrades.
    • Coordinate installation, maintenance, and aftersales support with service teams.
    • Lead training sessions on bearing selection, installation, and lubrication best practices.
    • Identify, onboard, and manage industrial distributors in key regions.
    • Support distributors with performance tracking and ensure compliance with brand standards.
    • Create joint business plans and conduct performance reviews with distribution partners.
    • Track market trends, competitor activity, and customer insights to guide strategy.
    • Share market intelligence with global and regional teams to improve product positioning.
    • Collaborate across functions to ensure smooth delivery and high customer satisfaction.
    • Maintain CRM data, prepare demand forecasts, and provide regular business reports.

 

Requirements: Qualification and Skill

    • Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical, Industrial Engineering, or a related field.
    • 4–6 years of techno-commercial experience in heavy industries (steel, cement, mining, ports, crushers).
    • In-depth knowledge of rotating equipment, maintenance practices, and industrial supply chains.
    • Proven track record in managing key industrial accounts and delivering tailored solutions.
    • Experience working with or managing industrial distributor networks is an advantage.
    • Willing and able to travel extensively across Africa and the Middle East.
    • Experience with condition monitoring or reliability services is a significant plus.
    • Familiarity with industrial automation and predictive maintenance technologies.
    • Proficient in using CRM/ERP platforms such as SAP or Salesforce.
