- Daily management and supervision of the team
- Generation of daily reports and taking corrective action when performance targets are not met
- Manpower planning and ensuring station ergonomics are adhered to
- Oversight of scrap control and quality-related processes
- Ensuring full compliance with Health & Safety and HR policies and procedures
- Maintaining high standards of workplace housekeeping
- Supporting Work-in-Progress (WIP) and sorting activities
- Minimum Skills and Qualifications Required:
- Grade 12 (Matric) with Mathematics or equivalent qualification
- Minimum of 2 years’ experience in a supervisory or management role
- Relevant qualification in Management, Supervision, or Logistics
- Valid driver’s license (preferred)
- Valid forklift license (required)
- Experience with inventory or "product on hand" systems will be advantageous
- Strong computer literacy, with above-average proficiency in Microsoft Excel
- Proven ability to effectively lead, monitor, and guide a team
- Motivational leadership style with a consistently positive attitude
- Strong problem-solving abilities with effective multitasking skills
- High attention to detail with a strong sense of urgency
- Goal-oriented and performance-driven
- Demonstrates high levels of integrity and leads by example
