New role is available for a Group Parts Supply Analyst for our client in the Automotive Industry, based in Centurion.
 
Key Responsibilities:
  • Analyze stock replenishment and forecasting reports to determine optimal inventory levels, ensuring target availability and firm order confirmations with local suppliers.
  • Conduct daily reviews of airfreight and sea freight order proposals and execute necessary order placements.
  • Perform daily analysis and reporting on Dealer backorders, implementing corrective actions as required.
  • Fulfill backorders within specified lead times and follow up with suppliers on overdue deliveries.
  • Review the Potential Stock-Out Report and proactively take actions to prevent backorders.
  • Monitor stock levels to meet stock turnover and months-on-hand targets.
  • Generate and review reports to identify and escalate problem areas for management evaluation.
  • Manage and control excess and obsolete stock to optimize inventory health.
  • Ensure superseded parts are managed correctly, updating orders to enable stock receipt and fulfill Dealer sales orders.
  • Coordinate with suppliers to ensure adherence to delivery schedules and resolve quality-related issues.
  • Liaise with Group Parts Distribution Centres on delivery timelines, priority shipments, and stock-related inquiries.
  • Support the Parts Helpdesk by addressing Dealer queries related to parts availability and resolution.
  • Update invoice and vessel information in SAP ET2000 to facilitate timely customs clearance of Kassel shipments by service providers and Group Transport.
  • Maintain accuracy in the replenishment process by managing and deleting outdated purchase orders.
Qualifications:
  • Degree or National Diploma in Logistics, Supply Chain Management, or a related field.
Experience:
  • Minimum of 3 years’ experience in warehousing or materials handling.
Key Competencies:
  • Strong knowledge of inventory management principles and practices.
  • Understanding of basic manufacturing processes and lead time management.
  • Experience with SAP and other logistics or procurement systems.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications.
  • Automotive industry experience preferred.
  • Familiarity with IDIS and EPIS systems.
