Seeking a seasoned Financial Controller who thrives in a structured environment with strong internal controls, reporting discipline, and a clear focus on governance. In this role, you'll lead the full finance function – from monthly reporting and compliance to strategic planning and fraud prevention. Ideal for someone who’s both analytical, detail-oriented, and ready to take ownership of processes and risk frameworks across the business.

Minimum Requirements:
Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, or similar
5+ years’ experience in a Financial Controller role
Proficiency in Sage Pastel and Microsoft Office Suite
Strong understanding of financial regulations and internal controls
Hands-on experience with financial reporting, audits, and compliance
High level of integrity and independence

Duties and Responsibilities:
Financial Oversight
Prepare, review, and consolidate monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports
Lead the month-end and year-end close process, including tax postings and reconciliations
Manage intercompany accounts and oversee budgeting, forecasting, and cash flow
Ensure compliance with tax laws, financial reporting standards, and internal controls
Provide financial insights to support strategic business decisions
Audit & Risk Management
Coordinate and manage the external audit process and prepare audit packs
Evaluate internal controls, risk management practices, and governance frameworks
Review financial and operational processes to prevent and detect fraud
Conduct operational audits (including stock and inventory reviews)
Follow up on audit recommendations and corrective actions
Systems & Process Improvement
Implement and enhance financial systems and procedures for better efficiency
Assess effectiveness of existing policies, financial tools, and process workflows
Ensure ongoing compliance with local and international financial standards
Reporting & Communication
Deliver clear reports and recommendations to management
Communicate findings and drive accountability across departments
Support ongoing training and financial awareness within the business
