Quality Controller and Quality Assurer

Our client is seeking an experienced Quality Controller and Quality Assurer to join our team. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in quality control and assurance, specifically with heavy earthmoving machinery such as CAT, Komatsu, Cummins, Bell, and Volvo.

 

Key Responsibilities:

• Quality Control: Inspect and test heavy earthmoving machinery to ensure they meet OEM, company and industry standards. Quality Control plans & QCP Development.
• Quality Assurance: Develop and implement quality assurance processes and procedures.
• Documentation: Maintain detailed records of inspections, tests, and quality assurance activities.
• Compliance: Ensure all machinery complies with OEM safety and regulatory standards.
• Problem Solving: Identify and resolve quality issues promptly.
• Training: Provide training to staff on quality control and assurance procedures.
• Continuous Improvement: Recommend and implement improvements to quality control and assurance processes.

Qualifications and experience:

• Experience: Minimum of 10-15 years in quality control and assurance, with a strong focus on heavy earthmoving machinery.
• Technical Knowledge: Extensive knowledge of CAT, Komatsu, Cummins, Bell, and Volvo machinery.
• Education: Relevant technical or engineering degree preferred.
• Skills: Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
• Attention to Detail: High level of attention to detail and accuracy.
• Leadership: Ability to lead and train a team.
