Management Accountant – (Finance / Management / Reporting / ERP / CA / CPA / Mining)

Responsibilities:

• Oversee day-to-day accounting operations, including journal entries, reconciliations, accruals, and adjustments.
• Lead and manage the month-end and year-end close processes.
• Prepare, analyse, and present accurate financial reports and management accounts.
• Ensure compliance with relevant accounting standards, regulations, and internal controls.
• Review and manage the work of Senior Financial Accountants, providing guidance, mentoring, and performance oversight.
• Liaise with auditors, tax consultants, and other external stakeholders.
• Assist with budgeting, forecasting, and variance analysis.
• Provide financial insight and support to operations and senior management.
• Continuously improve financial systems, processes, and reporting tools.

Requirements: Qualification and Skill

• Degree in Accounting.
• Professional Registration: Chartered Accountant (CA) or Certified Practising Accountant (CPA).
• Minimum 5 years of accounting experience, preferably in the mining industry.
• Strong knowledge of accounting standards and financial reporting.
• Hands-on experience with journals, reconciliations, and all aspects of month-end close.
• Proven experience in managing and mentoring accounting teams.
• Advanced proficiency in Excel and experience with ERP systems (e.g., SAP, Oracle, Pronto, or similar).
• Excellent communication, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines in a dynamic environment.
