- Leadership & Planning:
- Plan and execute sales activities for strategic accounts.
- Act as the main point of contact for customers and ensure efficient dealer-level coordination.
- Apply retail pricing profitably and support after-sales service.
- Provide transport consultancy and sales engineering support to guide correct vehicle selection.
- Maintain strong supplier relationships and uphold company SHE policies and best practices.
- Meet or exceed targets for unit sales, market share, and gross profit.
- Sales Process Management:
- Oversee the complete deal process, including vehicle selection, fitment, delivery, payment, and file closure.
- Ensure deliveries and handovers are well-controlled and aligned with warranty standards.
- Customer Relations:
- Maintain frequent and structured contact with both prospective and existing customers (calls and visits).
- Keep customers informed throughout the vehicle transaction process.
- Customer Retention & Growth:
- Keep customer database accurate and aligned with company records.
- Regularly update and share the database with Sales Management.
- Proactively grow customer relationships by sharing relevant market updates and maintaining ongoing engagement.
- Monitoring & Administration:
- Ensure timely vehicle invoicing and payment processing in line with sales terms.
- Support commission pay-outs by maintaining payment compliance.
- Confirm full payment on all cash sales.
- Take corrective actions when discrepancies arise.
- Maintain high-quality, relevant communication with customers.
- Reinforce the company’s image as a reliable and trustworthy brand.
- Utilize electronic sales tools (e.g., Transolve/HTM) to create professional quotations.
- Include mass distribution drawings and route simulations for corporate clients.
- Approach all sales with diligence and contribute to overall departmental goals in sales and profitability.
- Matric or higher
- Minimum 3-5 years experiences within trucking/Commercial Industry
- Code 8
- Knowledge on road traffic act
- Ability to cold call and look for business
- Confident and proactive approach- anticipates
