Digger Operator (Construction) - Lotus HR and Recruitment

Our client, an established and expanding construction company specialising in residential and commercial construction projects, seeks to employ an experienced Digger Loader Operator to join their professional team.

Please note that candidates must have proven experience operating digger loaders within the construction sector and reside in the Cape Winelands or surrounding areas

KEY REQUIREMENTS TO MEET FOR CONSIDERATION:

• You must have a minimum of 2–3 years' experience operating a Digger Loader, preferably within the construction or civil construction sector.
• You must have practical experience in excavation, earthmoving, trenching, backfilling, levelling, loading and general site preparation.
• You must hold relevant Digger Loader/Earthmoving Equipment Operator certification or competency.
• You must be able to operate machinery safely and efficiently, working closely with site supervisors and construction teams to meet project requirements and deadlines.
• You must be able to conduct daily machinery inspections, perform basic preventative maintenance and identify and report mechanical faults or safety concerns.
• You must have a sound understanding of construction site health and safety regulations and demonstrate a strong commitment to safe working practices.
• You must be reliable, physically fit, safety-conscious and willing to assist with general site activities when required.
• You must have a valid driver's licence, own car and a clear criminal and credit record.
