- Relevant Diploma or Degree in Healthcare Management, Business Administration or a related field.
- Minimum 5 years’ relevant experience in private healthcare administration, revenue cycle, case management, credit control, or a related function.
- Minimum 2 years’ supervisory or management experience.
- Sound knowledge of private healthcare revenue-cycle processes, medical scheme and funder rules.
- Strong understanding of case management, credit control, age analysis and debtors month-end processes.
- Intermediate to advanced Microsoft Office skills, with strong Excel capability for analysis and reporting.
- Working knowledge of funder or industry portals will be advantageous.
- Ethical judgment, integrity and confidentiality.
- Strong communication, reporting and stakeholder management skills.
- Analytical thinking and practical problem-solving ability.
- Leadership, accountability and the ability to coach and support teams.

- Lead and support the Team Leaders responsible for Credit Control and Case Management.
- Monitor operational performance, departmental targets, escalations and key revenue-cycle risks.
- Oversee debtor performance, collections, age analysis and month-end debtors reporting.
- Ensure effective case management processes, including authorisations, funder compliance and accurate documentation.
- Conduct monthly tariff analysis, identify trends and support annual tariff implementation and negotiations.
- Prepare accurate reporting and insights to support strategic decision-making by the Head: Administration.
- Drive standardisation, governance, accountability and continuous improvement across areas of responsibility.
- Lead and support the Team Leaders responsible for Credit Control and Case Management.
