Office Administrator Epping Cape Town

 

A well-established and fast-paced FMCG Wholesale company based in Epping, Cape Town is seeking an experienced, high-energy Office Administrator focussed on wholesale operations and admin. Its suits someone who thrives in a bustling environment, possesses exceptional communication skills, and has a proven track record of managing demanding client relationships and tight logistics schedules.

 

Salary R 18500 – R 20 000 pm

Working Hours - 05:00 AM – 02:00 PM (5 days per week including Saturday - NO SUNDAYS

Day Off – One day of in the week due to Saturday work

 

Minimum Requirements

  • Grade 12 / Matric.
  • 4–5+ years of solid office administration experience within the FMCG, Food Wholesale, Logistics, or Courier sectors.
  • Proven ability to handle demanding clients with professionalism and composure in a high-pressure environment.
  • Strong working knowledge of MS Excel (essential).
  • Bookkeeping/Finance Software experience an added bonus like Pastel, Xero or Sage
  • Reliable transport to get to Epping by 05:00 AM daily.

  • Order Processing & Invoicing
  • Receive and place incoming orders
  • Accurately capture customer orders and process invoices using Xero and MS Excel.
  • Prepare Quotes and pricing for clients new and old
  • Deal with irate and demanding clients
  • Act as the first point of contact for customer queries, telephonic orders, and product inquiries.
  • Logistics & Delivery Coordination - Organize and schedule daily delivery routes, liaise with drivers, and ensure prompt dispatch.
  • Dealing with Suppliers regarding ordered stock and delivery .
  • Follow-Ups & Tracking of orders: Proactively track orders, provide clients with delivery ETAs, and resolve any delivery or order discrepancies efficiently.
  • Maintain accurate digital filing systems, assist with inventory updates, and support daily administrative operations.
