Job identification
My client, a supplier of roofing, waterproofing and maintenance services, is looking for a Roofing Assessor to join their team in Brackenfell.
Responsibilities (not limited to)
- Physical evaluation of the roof – Accesses roofs safely to inspect outer surface materials
- Identifies water damage, active leaks, rot and rust
- Examines gutters, downpipes, vents and chimneys
- Verifies that installations meet building codes, safety regulations and manufacturer instructions
- Captures digital photos and make notes for insurance reports
Knowledge, skills and experience
- Excellent verbal and written communication in English and Afrikaans
- Computer literate (not negotiable) – very strong Excel and Word skills to write professional reports
- Strong attention to detail
- Fit and strong – being able to climb ladders and not afraid of heights
- Health and Safety experience advantageous
Salary
Market related plus commission
Own vehicle and driver’s license
